Assunta Scalzi

Assunta Scalzi is an inspiration for me, because she has proven that you can achieve anything if you put in the work.  Assunta migrated to Australia with her mother, father, brothers and sisters.  She came here with very little, but achieved much.  When she married, she raised 7 children with love and dedication.  Today, all her hard work has paid off and 6 of her children are married and she has ten beautiful grandchildren.  She is my mother and my best friend.
