Special MSF Event: Women's Health Forum

On 8 March 2008, International Women's Day, MSF is hosting a discussion forum on women’s health issues.

The event will feature experts from the field including Dr Tonia Marquardt, Women's Health Advisor from Médecins Sans Frontières Australia's Project Unit and cover numerous aspects of women's health including the high rates of maternal mortality in the developing world, emergency obstetric care, sexual violence, safe abortion and obstetric fistula.

ABC journalist Jennifer Byrne will moderate the special discussion forum which is free and open to the public.
